The legend commandos comes back after 15 years

Don’t call yourself a gamer if you do not know Commandos - one of the legends of PC gaming world. Commandos have been famous since the days when PC was old-fashioned machine with 128MB RAM and big-size CRT screen, when Internet is something really luxurious with Vietnamese young generation.

However, since Commandos 3: Destination Berlin - the "official" version was released in 2003, Commandos has not appeared once again. No one knows the reason, no one understands why this one-of-a-kind legend disappear without a trace.​

So 15 years goes by and Commandos gradually become a memory in people’s mind. However, today, after more than a decade, Commandos has suddenly come to life and prepare for the journey back to its virtual world.

It starts when the publisher Kalypso, a well-known tactic game like Tropico, officially buy the copyright of Commandos. This means that Commandos will be revived by developing a whole new version of the game besides remaking all the previous series. Kalypso's global managing director, Mr. Simon Hellwig said that:

This will be good news for both Commandos’ fans and the action gaming community. The image of commando of the Allied army fighting in World War II will certainly bring Vietnamese gamers countless emotional moments.​
