PUBG new map will let players combat in ... caves

PUBG has released the second Beta for the new map known as Codename: Savage. With limited area, the new map let gamers experience the non-stop shooting battles and the most intense combat phase that PUBG has ever witnessed.

However, not many people know that what they see in Savage is not yet a comprehensive picture. Besides lacking in graphic effects, object models, Savage has some secrets in a lot of new areas.

One of those areas is the cave system with "Sky gate" that allow players to directly parachute into. Inspired by Thailand's Phraya Nakhon Cave, this area will become a hot spot of Map Savage when it's officially released.

This underground cave system allows players to parachute directly to the center. But under the "Sky gate" is a small pond, which makes it difficult for anyone who is not good at parachuting to fall into the pond and cannot pick up the weapon immediately. So the ability to align while in the air plays an important role in surviving in this area.

If you succeed in defeating enemies around you as you jump down, you will have 3 paths to escape to different parts of the map. With the extremely unique structure, the new cave system will attract a lot of attentions for Savage as well as PUBG.​
