PUBG Mobile prepares for Update 0.9 - Add night mode, shields and a new DMR

While global version has already updated to version 0.7, PUBG Mobile Chinese version is about to release Update 0.9 with a series of changes and new contents. Many of them can dramatically change the gameplay of the previous Mobile version.

One of the notable things of PUBG Mobile 0.9 is Night Mode, allowing gamers to fight when the whole map is in the dark. Of course, in order to make the gamers feel better in the new environment, PUBG Mobile will have night vision equipment, making them into true combatants. Another interesting point is that this effect may not apply to the whole match, it will change randomly over time. That means the game may be completely full of sunshine but it will gradually turn into darkness, making the game more intense.​

In addition, PUBG Mobile 0.9 also welcomes QBU, a brand-new DMR gun on Sanhok Map. QBU will replace Mini 14 on this map, giving gamers the chance to use QBZ's "brother". QBU uses 5.56 ammo and does not have accessories for stock like many other guns. However, QBU has a bipod, which significantly reduces the recoil when the player is firing in lying position.

One of the most notable additions of PUBG Mobile 0.9 is the elevator and shields that can automatically come out when being activated. There the player can use the elevator which has the ability to automatically come out to attack the enemy while shields can protect himself and his teammates in front of the enemy. In addition, the player can also use mini-shield, which has been revealed in PUBG PC Trailer at the E3 2018 event.

Not only that, Update 0.9 adds a new series of new items. Based on arc technology, these items allow gamers to use different types of objects to distract from enemies. One of those abilities is to create the models that are similar to the model player is taking control, making the enemy think it is a player. You can also make electric trap, set up tree as a barrier or even put on "Stone Suit" to become a mobile stone.

However, according to unofficial sources, mechanisms such as elevator, big shield, tree, trap, illusion, claymore mine, dancing grenade and Stone Suit may not appear in Global version. They only appear in Timi version of China. Instead, the new QBU gun and night mode will be only available in global version. It is possible this is Tencent's decision to avoid the objection from gamers when they see PUBG Mobile having the same features as Fortnite.
