  1. Tencent has introduced two new features for PUBG Chinese version and has revealed the server locking capabilities.

PUBG and China are two keywords that has been most talked about in recent months, especially regarding Hack/ Cheat and international Server lockout for this country. PUBG fans themselves are familiar with Hacker problem and the developers have confirmed that 99% of banned accounts derive from China.

As soon as this problem rises, Chinese government announces to ban PUBG international version in the near future because the game contains some content that is inconsistent with Chinese culture. Soon after, Tencent suddenly said that it would be PUBG distributor in its hometown and PUBG Chinese version would be modified to fit Chinese traditions. Not only that, the game also announced two new versions of PUBG Mobile, which has been tested for some weeks.

However, Tencent also revealed more information about PC version, those are two completely new features. Firstly, this version will have Report mechanism outside Main Menu and it will inform players within 72 hours. And the second is "Veteran Honor", this feature allows players who plays PUBG to connect Steam account with Tencent account. This connection will bring them many precious rewards such as shirts, achievements, titles ... which can be only seen in Chinese version.

It is worth mentioning that through this announcement, Tencent seems to confirm that PUBG Chinese version will have a separate account system and be completely separated from Steam. Along with the Chinese government's warning about the inappropriate content and Steam Community itself has just been blocked here, it is highly possible that PUBG will be banned in China in the coming time, giving way to the version of Tencent. In short, it is equivalent to the official locking of PUBG international server in this country.

This may be good news for the vast majority of gaming community in the world, who have supported in “kicking” China from international Server for the past few months. However, until now everything is just rumor, GameHub will continue to update official information about PUBG for readers in the shortest time.
