Microsoft sẽ phát triển ROM chạy Windows 10 cho Android?

Công ty Redmond vừa cho biết họ sẽ hợp tác cùng Xiaomi để cho phép một nhóm người dùng Mi 4 có thể trải nghiệm Windows 10 ngay trên thiết bị của mình. Mặc dù cả 2 công ty không nói rõ việc này sẽ tiến hành ra sao, tuy vậy nguồn tin của trang TechCrunch cho rằng Microsoft sẽ phát triển một bản ROM đặc biệt, và khi cài đặt trên các thiết bị này sẽ "ghi đè" lên hệ điều hành Android. Điều này có nghĩa là các thiết bị Android này sẽ trở thành thiết bị chạy Windows 10 for Phones.

Như vậy, phiên bản hệ điều hành này sẽ không hỗ trợ dual boot (boot song song) như Microsoft đã làm (và chưa thành công) với một số nhà sản xuất Ấn Độ trong năm qua.
