  1. A female gamer of MMO Guild Wars has lost her house in a fire ... and what the developers do for her will make you heart-warming.

Just two weeks before Christmas, a woman lost her home and almost all her possessions in a fire. When she came back to pick up what's left, one of the valuable things she found is Nightfall CD Set - the expansion pack of Guild Wars MMORPG. When uploading the disc image to Twitter, she did not expect to receive a very valuable gift from the developer.

On December 13, Flora Hunsucker, or nickname "Siadina" in Guild Wars, went house to work as usual. However, when she arrived at her office, the fire in her house started to flare. The workplace is not far away from her house, but with the speed of fire spreading, Flora has nothing left when returning home.

Flora and her family lost their home where they have lived for 21 years. They were notified by firefighters that they would be able to return to look at the furniture after a week. And when she returned, she found one of her valuable things that had been with her for many years and did not know it would help her overcome her tough time. Yes, that is Guild Wars Nightfall Collectors’ Edition

In fact, Flora with the nickname Siadina is one of the most hardcore players in the Guild Wars community as she has spent 4000 hours playing MMO from 2005 to the present. Even with the latter version of Guild Wars 2, she also has had 2500 hours of play - a huge number for any online gamer. So, finding a game disc that has been with her for more than a decade is really meaningful during this difficult time.

However, everything did not stop there, because soon after posting the video on Twitter, Flora was contacted by ArenaNet – a communications staff. He said that as a way to comfort her loss, they would send her a souvenir T-shirt. But after a while ... the shirt was not the only thing that ArenaNet sent to this unlucky gamer. When her mother phoned, Flora unexpectedly knew that someone at ArenaNet had raised $3500 for her family and presented her the discs of all versions of Guild Wars with the signature of the development team.

It has not stopped here. As soon as this story reached the game community on Reddit, they continued to raise more money to help Flora return to normal life after the fire. It is an awesome gift for Flora, showing us that emotional value in the virtual world is no less than in real life.
