  1. Here’s everything you need to know about the Eastern Clash at Blizzard’s Arena in Taiwan.

The Eastern Clash is returning to Blizzard Arena Taipei, Taiwan with $100,000 USD in prize money on the line. Ballistix took home the trophy last year and will be looking to do the same here again against their regional rivals KSV Black, Tempest, and the challengers from China and Taiwan proper. This year, Korea has four spots at the Eastern Clash, China has three, and Taiwan will have one team represented.

Teams are seeded based on current HGC standings into a double elimination bracket. Day one matches will be best-of-three. All remaining matches will be best-of-five, except for the best-of-seven grand final. The team coming into the grand final with no match losses (from the upper bracket) will start with a one Battleground advantage in the series (i.e. 1-0 in their favor to start).
